- you got it - soul! He writes the songs from the House of Blues Shacks.

Michael Arlt
geb. 06.07.1969

Pure sympathy. Michael is the voice of the band, and that include the task of spokesman. His lyrics tell you about life. His harmonica supplies extra colour to the band´s sound, with a harp in his mouth he always accelerates up to eleven - while he is always likely to surprise you - and us! If he feels like it, the venue gets cooking. You´ve just GOT to love this man...

PIANO - ORGAN
Fabian Fritz
geb. 09.09.1990

Fabian Fritz started as a child with interests in music. After 11 years of classic piano school he left the world of notes and begun to play the Blues. Pianoplayers like Otis Spann and Roosevelt Sykes were fascinating Fritz with their powerful and nevertheless profound way of playing. Moro and More he improved his own style and found his musical home in the New Orleans music. James Booker and Dr. John, which combined Blues, Boogie Woogie and Gospel affected his way of playing a lot. February 2015 Fabian became bandmember of B.B. & The Blues Shacks - warm welcome!

KONTRABASS - E_BASS
Henning Hauerken
geb. 23.02.1964

The calm, solid rock of the band, has been a member since 1996. Henning plays a rare - and, for the Blues Shacks, absolutely indispensable instrument - the double bass. With the help of this, he influenced their sound tremendously - and what´s more: He supplies the musical foundation. This man is truly authentic. When he laughs, the band is highly illuminated with positive energy.

DRUMS
Andre Werkmeister
geb. 05.02.1977

Andre joined the band 2014. He is known as one of Germany's best blues drummer!

BB's are masters of their instruments and make the audience feel the deep emotions that lie in the sound of hand-made R&B for more than 30 years. Their music is fun and sweeps the listeners away. Meanwhile they have played more than 4000 gigs, won numerous awards and recorded twelve albums, one with a Grammy winner. They have received numerous honors and awards including "Best European Blues Band". The album 'London Days' was awarded with the German Record Critic's Award. They are touring from Barcelona to Moscow and thrilled a crowd of 10 000 with their performances in L.A. and Australia. Ladies & gangsters: it's blues time!
