American-Faroese singer Marianna Winter released her new, self-reflective single, 'People Pleaser', on the 30th of June via Tutl Records. The song was premiered by prominent taste-maker CLASH Magazine and follows her previous single, 'Consequences', which she released alongside an official music video. After, she showcased the song and her bright voice in an up-close-and-personal live studio performance.

Continuing to establish her name, the singer has garnered support from noteworthy publications such as CelebMix, The Line Of Best Fit, Gigwise, All Music Magazine, Bands of Tomorrow and more, all while receiving spins on Reprezent Radio as well as Faroe Islands' national station KVF. Furthermore, her music has previously landed on Spotify playlists Now Hear This (UK) and De Nye (Denmark).

Soul-pop singer Marianna Winter is one of the few female artists currently pioneering the lo-fi underground scene in the Faroe Islands with her gritty yet catchy pop melodies. Born and partly raised between California and Tórshavn, she challenges her homeland's musical and cultural status quo, adding an LA heat to the quintessential Nordic sound, thus offering a unique perspective into both cultures. Drawing inspiration from Lennon Stella, Daniel Caeser, Joesef, UMI, and Mahalia, her sound can be likened to SZA, Kehlani, and Alina Baraz.
